Emotional regulation and alcohol use: The difference between changes and differences

Synopsis: The inability to respond adaptively to stress and negative emotion is associated with physical and mental health challenges. We will explore changes in autonomic nervous system modulation of emotional arousal as an intra-personal vulnerability factor for harmful alcohol use.
