Synopsis: This course will appeal to environmental professionals who regularly deal with oil impacted sites and wish to learn more about the latest in advanced forensics techniques for petroleum releases of gasoline and distillates.

In-class examples and exercises related to on-site assessment and remediation issues/concerns that may be encountered by the practicing LSRPs will be included. Command of environmental chemistry, which includes an understanding of gas chromatography and combined gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, is strongly recommended.
