Operations personnel face math problems on the job every day. In a relaxed setting, students are encouraged to draw on workplace experience and common sense to improve their basic math skills and to learn to solve math-related problems that occur daily in the workplace.

Course Objectives:

Students will learn how to use formulas and will complete practice problems in the following areas:

  • Addition & Subtraction
  • Multiplication & Division
  • Area/Volume Calculations
  • Metric Conversions
  • Percentages/Graphs
  • Weight/Volume Relationships
  • Velocity & Flow Rate Calculations/Conversions
