What is the difference between Leader and Admin user rights?

There are two levels of approved calendar administrator: Leader and Admin.

  • Leader access allows calendar users to add events, delete, edit and cancel events that anyone in their organization submitted and approve others for access.

  • Admin access allows users to add events, delete, edit and cancel events that they themselves submitted.

From there you will be prompted to sign in with your NetID and password.

Once signed in click on the "Request Access to An Existing Organization" link.

The person in your organization who has leader privileges for the calendar of events will need to approve your request before you can add events.

How can I add line breaks to my event descriptions?

To create line breaks insert simple HTML <br /> tags into your event's descriptions to create a single line break or use multiple HTML <br /> tags to create several empty lines.

To create a paragraph, place the text describing your event between the <p> and </p> tags, like this: <p>This is a paragraph.</p> <p>This is the next paragraph.</p>

Please be careful when using HTML tags; HTML tags typed incorrectly will not work as intended.

Can I add formatting to my calendar entry?

Yes, formatting the text in your event description is easy to do with HTML tags. Here are some commonly used HTML tags that you might want to use:

  1. To create line breaks put <br /> at the end of the line.

  2. A paragraph can be created by putting <p> at the beginning of the paragraph and </p> at the end.

  3. Text can be made bold by adding <b> in front of the word(s) you would like to make bold and </b> at the end of the word(s).

  4. To make words italicized you can put <i> in front of the word(s) and </i> at the end of the word(s).
