In the first aid portion of the course, you will learn how to check for and treat injuries. Topics covered include:

  • Bleeding
  • Choking
  • Drowning
  • Fractures
  • Heat and cold emergencies
  • Impaled objects
  • Poisoning
  • Shock
  • Splinting
  • And much more

In the CPR portion of the course, you will be instructed in the proper techniques of rescue breathing, pulse check, and compressions.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will earn a nationally recognized ASHI pet first aid and CPR certification that is valid for two (2) years.
