Additional Information: The walking tour, which takes about an hour, explores the origins of Rutgers, its traditions, and architectural points of interests. The area includes some of the university's oldest buildings. There is no charge for individuals for the regularly-scheduled tours. There is a nominal fee for groups of 10 or more. Historical tours are offered by appointment every Friday and Saturday at 11:30 am during the Fall and Spring Semesters. Admission to regularly-scheduled tours is free. During Summer Break, tours are available on Fridays at 11:30 am by appointment or call to arrange an alternate time.
