Additional Information: Repair of DNA breaks with the appropriate chromosomal template is critical to maintain genomic integrity and to promote proper chromosome segregation during meiosis, the specialized cell division that generates sperm and eggs. My talk will focus on how meiotic chromosome structures both control and respond to particular DNA repair outcomes.
