Synopsis: Dance off the winter blues at the Masquerade Ball! Organized by the Zimmerli Student Advisory Board (ZSAB) and co-sponsored by the Rutgers University Programming Association (RUPA), this formal dress event invites students to explore the theme “Fire and Ice” in designing their costumes and masks.

The evening includes a DJ, dance demonstrations, and a museum-wide scavenger hunt (with prizes!). Hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic refreshments are served throughout the evening. Snow Date: Saturday, February 15, 2014, 7-11PM.

(ZSAB) serves as the student voice of and for the museum, acting as a bridge between the student body at Rutgers and the Zimmerli. The members of ZSAB launched the Masquerade Ball, an event now in its fifth season that sells out each year. In its successful efforts to engage Rutgers students in the activities of the museum, ZSAB members gain valuable skills in leadership and teamwork as well as strategic planning and decision making.
