Synopsis: Toxicants cause cell death by apoptosis, necrosis, apocrosis and autophagy. The overall mechanistic frameworks, micro/macro-pathology influenced by drugs, chemicals, and stressors will be discussed. Special emphasis will be placed upon ultrastructural changes during organ toxicity progression
