Synopsis: This workshop is designed to meet the training needs of government employees involved in mosquito research, surveillance and abatement. It is a multi-day program running from June 4-8.

Incorporating a science-based approach to mosquito control, stewardship of public health and the environment will be the program's primary focus. The identification/laboratory course will stress larval and adult identification skills, as well as techniques critical for delineating nuisance and vector populations.
