Radcliffe "Ruddy" Roye

Radcliffe “Ruddy” Roye is a Jamaican-born, Brooklyn-based American photographer whose work documenting the Black Lives Matter movement appears in "Subjective Objective: A Century of Social Photography." He specialized in editorial and environmental portraits, and was named Time Magazine’s Instagram Photographer of the Year in 2016 (#whenlivingisaprotest.) His work has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, and Ebony, among other distinguished publications. A Q&A opportunity for audience members follows the talk.
