A Zimmerli tradition continues as the museum welcomes visitors to celebrate the fourth annual Rutgers Day on April 27. This celebration includes tours, exhibits, performances, and family-friendly activities across Rutgers' New Brunswick and Piscataway campuses.

39th Annual New Jersey Folk Festival

Come out and celebrate Garifuna Traditions on April 27th, 10am-6pm, rain or shine, on the grounds of the Eagleton Institute on the Douglass Campus of Rutgers University. There are performances, workshops, a wide array of American and ethnic food, a folk marketplace, and a children's area.

The trail through the woods may be muddy in places except in dry weather, so persons should come prepared. The tour through the woods takes between one and two hours. There is no charge, and reservations are not required on these guided public tours
