Clean Communities Litter Survey Site Training - Southern New Jersey

In order to participate in the New Jersey Clean Communities 2018 statewide litter survey, coordinators must attend one of the regional “hands-on” training sessions. These will provide the detailed information that individual coordinators will need in order to conduct litter surveys for the program.

This session provides tips on generating discussion on difficult issues when students seem unwilling to speak, dealing with a situation in which a student says something offensive, and creating a classroom atmosphere that's conducive to open discussion of sensitive issues.

The Rutgers Youth Jazz Ensemble is open to serious musicians ages 11-18 by audition only. Participants are challenged to grow in new directions during rehearsals that incorporate ear training, jazz theory, and advanced concepts in jazz improvisation.
