Kisspeptin (Kiss1) neurons in the arcuate nucleus (Kiss1ARH) co-express Kiss1, NKB, Dynorphin and glutamate. I will discuss the specific role of each peptide and glutamate within Kiss1ARH neurons, as well as their role in regulating POMC and NPY/AgRP neurons and the functional outcome in vivo.
